It have been on since like for ever, VI vs Emacs, Windows vs. Mac, IE vs Netscape, then IE vs. Firefox, all the way to the day of iphone vs. android and twitter vs. facebook, well guess what? they all suck …

Software wars are there since too many years, but why? why can’t softwares live together happily? well… apparently geeks like to religious about the software they use, and thats why we see linuxHeads and macHeads and PCerrr… well i don’t know what they call PC people, maybe just PCs (:

So, which is better? the answer is none, there is no such thing as perfect software, or perfect computer system in general, why? because it is created by humans whom are not-perfect creatures.

With each software comes the good part and the bad part, it all depends on the angle you are looking from, if you took operating systems for example: Windows has its good side which mostly that it runs on most (if not all) common hardware, but it is a full package, with windows comes non-sense errors,BSODs and malware, apple mackintosh on the other hand have a great user experience, great looking designs but apple comes with its high-price and if you try to install the OS on other hardware thats gonna be a nightmare most of the times, what about linux? it is open-source, it works on any hardware and totally customizable, well ya but linux comes with its pain, even though its installation have become really easy on most recent distributions and there is more focus on the normal user and the graphical interface, still an unknowing user,an awkward hardware or some unknown reason can turn a linux box into a hell.

so, what the hell should we do? well… do whatever that works, mix and don’t be religious. if linux can work on my machine it is gonna be great, but if it is gonna keep crashing and distract me from getting my work done i could install windows on it, or get another machine that works better with linux, the idea is unless you pray to a computer don’t be religious about it, and like one wise man once said “There is no good software, there is just software that sucks less”
